Kerry yeah anlun like 84. Came on alot of bikes in different color caps. One being the 84 haro's. May be a crappy stem to some but if you are doing a factory fst or sport you need one.

Good info there. Ok so mine are actually 2nd gen's. They are aluminum under all the peeling chrome. Actually my floor has more chrome on it then the bars do right now !! So would it be too messed up to powder these black? There are no chromers in my area at all to get them re-chromed.

Hey guys does anyone know what finished besies chrome did the first gt mini bars come in? I have a chrome set that are peeling so bad if I walk by the bike chrome flakes fall off and was tempted to have them powdered black as I have seen them that color before. Did they come in polished also? Thanks guys, Dan
