That is bada$$!! It has to be super light, you got any weight figures. (I don't understand metric #'s, but I am sure I can find a convertor.) It looks sooo nice, how does she ride? Is it stiffer than all aluminum? Good looking ride, congrats!!

Thanks for the reply Spur. As far as cranks, I had seen some Bulletproof and FMF on the Bay for pretty cheap, in just about any size, so that is always an option. Wheels are definately 1 3/8" though, I'll have to see where to get those, look at the options. I'll try to get some before pics up soon, I know everyone would like to see em. Lates

Whats up everyone? So this will be my first post, sorry if it is in the wrong section. Please move it if it is, like I said, super new guy right here. Anyway, the reason that I am posting is that I need lots of help starting my first build, (hopefully not my last.) I want to rebuild the Minigoose that I had when I was a kid, it is @ 83-85, with the black and yellow stickers that had the frame name vertically on the seat tube. (Don't have the frame in front of me, it is stored at my Dad's right now or I would give the serial number.) I want to restore it to the condition that it was when I rode and started racing on it, before I moved up to an Expert, (which I may also restore if I can find it in the old garage.) I have the main parts, original from when I bought it new and some that I added BITD, frame, fork, bars(gold Powerlite juniors) and stem(red and/or black mini Pro Neck), and some other parts in my Dad's massive parts collection, he loves bikes of ALL kinds, which is where I get it. But the things that I am having the most trouble with, are wheels, I would love some Pro-Class 1 3/8 wheels, but any 1 3/8 would do since those seem few and far between. Oh, and also having a little trouble finding some 155-165 three piece alloy cranks, the ones I had were cut-down and re-tapped by my Dad's friend at the local shop BITD. Also I was hoping that someone might have pictures of Minigooses, or the catalog pics from back then. I know that this is asking alot, but I figure if anyone can help me, it would be all of the rabid oldschoolers on this site. Thanks in advance and it is awesome to see a site like this that is such a great resource. I have seen some awesome minis and juniors, like the JMC Justin Roos(forget whos it is,) and Astros Profile, so I figure someones gotta have some info. This is long now, thanks again, lates!!!
