  1. How did you get the Partridge Family to let you put all your bike stuff in their garage? :LMAO:
  2. Looks like an old school motorcycle MX bar with the wide knurling.
  3. "My brother has this old BMX bike that he has had since the early 80's and I want to fix it up for his son but none of the new stuff fits it, do you have any left over stuff that may work in the back?"
  4. Thanks for the help. I had seen that auction the last time and then seen that they add 16" wheels to the description and that is when I contacted them for the specs as reference. My buddy MotoBMX bid on it for the pads and bars and if the frame actually worked out then it would have been a bonus. Thanks Again!
  5. Does this look like a pit to you? They claim it is and I have compared it to SK8's pit pics and the TT looks a lot longer. I have a chance to purchase what is being described as a NOS pit but it has the same dimensions as this one. I have not received any response on fork length (which is really the easiest way). By the looks of the length of the CW bars it really looks like it should be a pit but not with a 17" TT. Thanks for your help.
  6. Thoughts, prayers and a thank you for who you are and always have been as a person and to our beloved sport and hobby. I will go a step further and say 35 and over as I know too many in the 36-38 range that are battling the angry spider. My grandfather and my great grandfather all lost their battles however they really did not know how or when to get checked back then. Now it is a yearly part of my life as well as my son's. When detected early the ratio is much higher for a complete recovery. Now for a moment of selfishness.......hurry up and come back racing! :32: In all seriousness my family wishes a speedy and successful recovery.
  7. The #6 Schwinn was way advanced for 73. Chrome or Nickel plated, Big hubs and spokes, layed back seat post, Jr. banana seat, real racing stem, MX bars.... that thing was/is probably one of the nicest. Question for Rick, what year was your last full envolvement with your racing team?
  8. Centurion & the LRV are incredible. What I always like about your bikes Reilly is that you are very diversified in your collection. The majority of collectors go for the hot top 5-6 models and then they get stuck on those bikes never looking as to what other flavors are out there. Like always very nice and thank you!
  9. I might be wrong but that frame looks nothing like the 95/6 Profiles I had and the forks are nowhere close. Those forks actually look like they are aluminum. Also Profiles frame was I.D.'d Rocket but they actually used Profile branded decals where this actually looks to be a bike manufacturer called Rocket. Again I may be wrong, just adding a little of my knowledge.
  10. Thanks for all the great replies. It has been a crazy 7 weeks since we started racing. We have a great local track that took us in with open arms. We did a few local races, a couple state qualifiers and this weekend we raced our first NBL national at Waterford Oaks. Since both my grandkids are under 6 they race in the same 5 & under rookie class. The kids are really close but my grand daughter usually beats him with ease (don't tell my grandson I said that...lol) but it is great to have them so competitive with each other as well. We usually have 15 - 20 5 & unders at our larger races which those that still race will know is a huge number for this class. This weekend was extra special because both kids made the mains at the national both days. We ran 2 & 3 all but 1 qualifier, top 3 in the semi's and then my granddaughter finished 7th on Sat and 5th on Sun. (while battling for third at the finish line within a 1/2 a wheel). My Grandson was the only 4 year old to make the mains and finished 8th on Sat. and 7th on Sun. He is at the moody stage right now so you never know what you are gonna get come race time. Sat. was ugly and Sunday he rode like a champ. He is small so he is still struggling on starts and even if he gets a good gate he still is letting the larger kids push him around a bit. It has been a lot of fun and our whole family is involved and having the times of our life. I am proud of my son for the job he is doing not being hard on the kids when they don't always perform to their abilities. He is just supportive and always filled with love towards them. I see so many other fathers/parents struggling with some of the issues we have with my grandson and it really bothers me to hear some of the things a parent will say to their child. Anyways babbling with joy, here are a few recent photos. My granddaughter got new gear and my son bought my grandson a new mini as the micro was just too twitchy. The mini is much more stable and he has stopped falling down so frequently.
  11. GT3540 what size cranks are you running on that Viper 16"? Thanks
