Anyone Know Of A Place To Mirror Polish An Alumin
FuNMoNsTeR replied to TravisLea's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
You can buy polishing mops for a hand drill and bench mount it. I use cream polishing compounds on my aluminium to get mirror finishes. Start with fine steel wool or wet n dry, work up to the finest grade and then cream polish -

???bottema Race Or Skatepark Fork?????
FuNMoNsTeR replied to Er1k1980's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
I have an identical set in their original White finish with original red decals. I was told they are early race forks before they made the dropouts on race forks smaller. Skatepark forks have a small weld up the inside of the dropouts. -
Thanks guys... its on its way to me.... I should take delivery on Friday. I will post better info over the weekend best regards, Andy

FuNMoNsTeR replied to FuNMoNsTeR's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
Thanks for all your input guys... I traded the f+f for a Mongoose Proclass f+f which is now on its way to me. I just wanted to be sure it was a streak as thats what the other guy wanted many thanks all :32: -
Sorry not made by JMC but by Walt Ehnat.

Hi there... can any of you guys id this stem for me please if possible? I have been told it is an ESP 'Flying W' stem, a super rare item made back in the day by JMC for 1 inch threaded forks. It was an innovation and was made well before this kind of stem design became the norm. Is this true? I just want to get the facts straight before i offer it up for sale. Any info would be much appreciated
