  1. I was just cruzin the net saw the frame. Looks like a Stroker. Especially if it's real heavy. Regards, Sadano
  2. One more track that I believe raced a few times. Don't know the name but it was in Valencia and it was where the first nationals were ever held. It was the SHIMANO Nationals. Just a tidbit! Sadano
  3. Yarnell! Now were really going back. My first race as a Wheels N Things sponsored rider was WSA too! What about the Silver Wing race track. San Dieg's First offial BMX TRACK? Anyone remember? Sadano
  4. Mike, Yep Weinert was awsome. Back in 75 I used to read BMX news and reading about John Palfreman and Thom Lund. I remeber the day of practice and waliking the bike up the hill. They said I was going for it! What a compliment from two guys I really looked up to. Do you remember Bonzai! Once if I'm correct Jeff Botema exploded a motomag when he hit the bottom! No lie! So was Saddleback. I think that Jeff Botema exploded a motomag Sadano
  5. Mike, I can reach Harry Mutch. He's living in Oregon. As for the others no. Carlos Gomez I think still lives in Chula Vista. The Maniac Track was in CV on the east side by Orange Ave and Oleander. On a map Brandywine St. runs right through it. The Fire Station is about where the main Jump was at. I've got great footage still on 8mm and Video transfer now of it as well as the Scorpion gully jump and some great photos. Call me 714-448-5988 on my cell Sadano
  6. Cruiser, I used to race Rancho. With : Coy, Dale , Boo Boo Moreno, Harry Mutch, and Ricardo Perdoza I'm also in the pic on Sandy's Site in front of Coy and Dale at the turn before the flats at the end of the track. Rancho was insane, but ask anyone about a track that there were no races at but was known among the better riders as one of the best. It was the Maniac Track in Chula Vista. I have videos! Insane Videos from '74 I have a lot of history with it from 1973 to 78 and devlopment as well to share. Let's talk! Regards, Sadano
