  1. S & S was a bike shop in Texas that produced the Tiger Tooth sprockets...I'm pretty sure I still have a 47t in the garage somewhere. I believe Kendall Burleson & his Dad were making them before Kendal went to some factory rides.
  2. They were definitely sold in some small stores in the mid-west and other areas east of CA. I remember seeing them in Otasco stores in Oklahoma as a kid. Nice bike Scott!
  3. I remember Quickline in the early 90's being owned by Bob Ruple. His son Willie raced for them, and at one point, Chris Sanchez as well (Vans Triple Crown DH winner). Quicklines came in chrome, black, blue and yellow. The team eventually hooked up a deal with GT and stopped making their own frames.
  4. Dorky? Hell Nooooo! Cool as hell? Awwww Ye-uh! If you can do that good of work and use the iron-ons from Office Depot....you should be getting PLENTY of requests from this site! I know I'm thinking of some right now! (Anybody got a copy of that Farrah Fawcett poster from the 70's????)
  5. I'll see if I can make it, most likely I will.......
  6. Seating is limited to 300 at various rates...early bird rate is $60.00 per seat. Check the ABA's website for a link to purchase your tickets
  7. Actually, it's in the Balboa Park area, at the San Diego Hall of Champions, about 15 minutes north of Chula Vista. It's going to be a good time!
  8. Hmmmm........................not sure, but I'll try to make it up for this one.
  9. I still think it's pretty freakin' cool! Just to get some BMX ON TV is cool, 'hacks are cool and isn't it really all about having fun on bikes? I know I am, even though it may not be BMX bikes as much anymore. I think what Andy & Patrick are doing with 'Hacks is great, they are trying to get something going, kind of like how other's did in the beginning. I am looking forward to checking out the show. Carry on.
  10. Well....today's the day...where do I send my application Alvin? Do I get "jumped In" or something?
  11. Well, if you go by pedigree.......I was taught how to drive by two stock car racers (Mom & Dad), so I might be able to help!
  12. Steve, Thank YOU for having this event. I am glad I finally was able to make it to this event. I had a blast, got to meet some of you guys from the board, saw some incredible bikes and just had a great time. I also got to catch up with old friends, new friends and basically just have fun as a big kid! Thanks to everybody for such a fun time and I'm looking forward to next years event!
