  1. Nice looking bars Andy. Those look more like the top set I have. Andy , it kind of seems like your crossbar is off. Looking at the bars from the front view it seems the crossbar is a little higher on the left side. Or is it just the angle of the pic or my glass eye ?? I have heard some of Hutch's early stuff had some variances depending on what company made them or even which day and whos jig they came off of.
  2. Well as I stated else where. After 20 + years and being passed through who knows how many people and places its hard to be 100% sure they are 1st gen Hutch bars. However when I got them they were on a Hutch cruiser and did have the die cut black sticker on the left side, which I thought were 1st gen Hutch bars "Not being a Hucth expert But that brings me to think what other cruiser bars had that curvey style bends with a thin crossbar besides Hutch & National Pro.
  3. I have two sets of what I think are 1st gen. Hutch cruiser bars. However they have a few differences. Did Hutch make two different crossbar rise handlebars or maybe some differences from different years or one set may not be HUTCH ?? a little hard to see here but the bottom bar has a lower crossbar. one measures about 6 1/8 rise and the other is about 5 5/8 rise and last, one has more back sweep then the other. Thanks for any info,
  4. To all you SST experts out there, you know who you are. Is this a SST seatpost ? It is a straight model and is chrome and just shy of 15" long. Sorry for the crappy pics but its the best I could get. Mark
  5. WOW !! nice rides. I dont visit here to much but I'll play along. Hope y'all enjoy. My 84' master My 24" retro master cruiser Mark
  6. Hey guys thanks a million for all the fast replys with your knowledge :24: and info about the Profiles :32: . Actually the ones I have look almost exactly like the ones in the pic "ASTRODAMUS" posted. However the star looks closer to what "CARBIZGUY" posted except it has a twist to it. I'll try to post some pics in the next few days. Thanks again Mark / Haro#7
  7. Does anyone know if Profile ever made cranks that look basically like the ones the make now days, but without the name Profile engraved on the crank arms? Just asking cause it seems I have heard the term " NON-STAMPED PROFILE CRANKS " somewhere before. Let me know any info you guys have on this subject.
  8. Has anyone seen the 2006 Haro "sport" retro thats due to hit in Jan. 2006 ? :32: It looks pretty good in the 88 aqua green color, but is way more new tech. than the retro mongoose. I heard it should sellfor @ $400. So :26: let hear what y'all think about it.
  9. Yea , back in the day I used to cus Kevin Jones till I was blue in the face :38: But then I wanted to give him props :24: cause watching him do his tricks " or the handfull of other people who could " was just way beyond sick. I just remember the 1st time I saw him do a hitch-hicker. I was like " WHAT THE F*%@ ???
  10. My best trick was anything I could pull with any consistancy that got a OOOOOOOOOO or AAHHHHHHHH . ha ha ha... firehydrant to cherrypicker , firehydrant to decade , miami hoppers or my MEGA high bunny hops . 41 inches personal best. THATS RIGHT 41 inches . :nobull: FAT BOY HAD HOPS, "" just remember that was back in the day circa 1986 " HA HA HA ....worst trick andything that involved rolling.. "im my best pissed off voice".. "" THANKS FOR REWRITING FREESTYLE TRICKS AS WE KNEW THEM, MR. KEVIN JONES "
  11. Ok guys this thread is ALL about opinions so here goes.. I see alot of y'all like the dyno, however I am 5' 10" and always found the dyno to be really short and cramped. I did like the steep headangle making it quick. But in my opinion the Haro master was the top dog. :14: It had great geometry, but best of all was it felt so stable & solid under you. Tied for 2nd in my opinion was Trick star cause it was light, very quick handeling. Only thing I didnt like was the stock front & rear standers were way to small and permanent unless you had a cutting torch. HA HA Other than that great ride. :32: And other #2 , the original GT performer. very solid & roomy. Bolt-on fork & frame standers worked great. Only draw back was it could have had steep head angle , was kinda slow handeling. Also kinda felt tank'ish & heavy while stable. But both can be good assets for ramps, since Eddie designed it.
