  1. My 88 original Kiwi bars and by original Mango bars are both double knurled. I don't think there is a pattern to those, to tell what year they are, I think it was all a matter of witch machine that particular set of bars was on when it was knurled. I am sure there might have been more then one machine going, or the tubes were out-source before even being welded together.
  2. Good job! Just some info, but the Red version gets a "white" model name decal, not "black". Didn't you get any of the lower chain stay dotted decals that go by the BB? I can send you some, if you did not get any with the ones that I sent you. I have some remakes.
  3. Forman is just one of those popular guys - he's got paparazazi!!
  4. That is not a Redline at all, with that style double top tube and brace.....
  5. That can't be the same mags??? The 1st picture shows the front mag all faded and weathered?
  6. If you want to keep it a clean chrome look - how about the 88 decal set that goes on the chrome bikes only. This decal is unique to the 88 chrome model RL-20II and RL-20B. I put it on a 1987 RL-20 prostyler.
  7. With some kids that are in that age group, they don't care of the value of the Dollar, they either want their bike or don't want their bike. I attempted to buy a kids 1986 GT Pro Freestyle tour, that was a survivor that was all there, and he did not want to sell it no mater the price. I even said something ridiculous like $400, and he still said no. I could tell that he was not even listening to the cash amount - he simply would not sell. I guess that is the difference when you say, "money talks" - since he has apparently no need for money, it ain't talk'n
  8. Does anyone know the specs/parts on the 1998 Evel Knievel Hoffman bike? Also, isn't 1998 the 1st run on those models? A link to a site talking about it would be cool Thanks!
  9. What did this RL look like, maybe it is on this Board, or another....
  10. Yeah, I know, the 990's and the lower peg mounts. Also, the pegs would have been the larger ones too. I think the forks are bent. I thought they were playing tricks on my eyes when I first looked at them alone. Now after Paul mentioning it, and that photo making it look so, they might be. It is as if someone ran into a wall with them.
