  1. Easiest way to remove the brake pad marks is the Mr. clean SPONGE. It will take off all those marks. I used it on white skyways with black pad marks and every little mark came off. you might need two boxes (2 sponges per box). Just my two cents
  2. I just bought some new 175mm redline cranks for my rebuild and there weren't any instructions included in the box. I have installed one piece cranks but never a three piece. can anybody shed some light please? thanks
  3. Hello, Go ahead and send the pics. Does he do any type of layaway or is it just up front charge or cash? Thanks
  4. Where is the shop located at? Thanks
  5. I've tried not to tighten the nuts too much but then there is play in the bearings and when I tighten them up the wheel doesn't spin freely. I botched this project. Oh yeah, I forgot, its a freewheel also. Thanks
  6. Its from a mongoose. It has 9 separate ball bearings for each side respectively. I think that they have been worn one way since the bike was bought previously. When I took them out and cleaned them and put them back in there was no way I could get them in the same way they came out. This is my only answer for the problem I guess. I'm gonna see if the bike shop has any bearings lying around. I'll try to take pics tonight. Thanks
  7. Ok, So I was dumb enough to try and take the rear wheel assembly out and clean it and the ball bearings. I cleaned all the parts and bought new grease and lubed the bearings up and the inner metal where the bearings sit. I don't know if the age and use of the bearings wore small grooves in them but I surely didn't put them back in the way they came out (which would nearly be impossible) but now the wheel doesn't spin "as freely" as the front tire which I haven't touched. I surely thought this would be a great help in keeping the wheels and bearings good but now it looks like I messed it up more. Should I see if I can buy a new set of bearings for each side and replace the old ones or just look for a new rim now? Thanks in advance.
  8. Sure, that would be great. I'm looking for the complete bike. Thanks my email is bcharles23@hotmail.com Thanks again.
  9. Ok Thanks. I just wanted to know also, if I was correct with the name. Thanks
  10. Just wondering if anybody remembers if I am correct or not. I had a buddy down the block who had a hot pink Torker 2. Are these around anymore? I've been trying to find one and have had no luck. Thanks in advance.
