  1. Quote: 'Whether it be "virgin" collectors or seasoned ones, they need to know what NOS is before they lay down their hard earned money'. I have to say that this reads as: 'If you don't know that we're selling you Newly made parts as New Old Stock (ie. stock that has stood the test of time in a box on a shelf), then we don't care that really your being deceived / ripped off'. Therefore and with that attitude how can you now be asking us to care if you are now being ripped off by someone with the same mentality that you have showed to others?
  2. I'm still on the fence a little with this one, I love it, but in the same breath I don't also I would have like to have seen it with a slightly longer tt (there may well be reasons with this wouldn't have been right). But other than that I commend you on your hard work in getting this project off the ground and finished to such a high standard.
  3. I have to say I am not 100% sure if the Powerlite will stay with me as yet. The TT measures 20 3/4" or 21" its hard to tell through the bubble wrap If I do keep it it will probably sport one piece Chrome sugino cranks, Chrome dk stem, chrome rims & hubs. Most everything else will be black as I think theres enough colour going on already.
  4. It was pretty shot / flaking in places. But the metal was good just the chrome was lifting - SBD our powdercoater here in the UK had to do quite a bit of prep work in order to get a good key for the powder. I did try a good clean to see if it was salvageable first as I'm not one to kill Chrome unless necessary but it didn't look good. This candy is done in 2 - Bright Silver 1st then an Inky Blue Clear Coat after.
  5. Well I've been tinkering with the Profile and I've just received the Powerlite back from the powdercoaters (who did a stunning job of sanding back the rough chrome and giving it a silky smooth candy coating) Profile 24" Powerlite 24"
  6. maybe a Haro mini series might work for you?
