  1. Interesting. I don't think I've seen the double-coaster tabs before. Chalk it up to another early Monday/late Friday job.
  2. Interesting topic, lots of stuff to learn from this thread. FWIW, I have a set of '88 kiwi bars and they have the single knurling.
  3. Steve, do you remember ever seeing any sort of catalog or "dealer spec sheets" from Ozone back then? I've only heard of this bike mentioned in a Bmx Plus! review of the Method:One bike. Other than that, it never showed up in any ads that I can think of? Even Alan was a bit hazy on the details.
  4. When you start cleaning it, can you check to see if there are any markings on the fork steerer tube? I've heard the forks on this model were also steel, and shouldn't have any markings/stampings. I agree, a good clean up is all this one needs.
  5. Wow, that looks to be a stock Ozone. Very cool find Ant! Can you tell me what the lower decal on the seat tube says? The O3 was the low-end bike, and I'm pretty sure it's a steel frame. That decal should confirm it though. I'd love to see more pics of it. Don't see enough of these. Raul
  6. If it's in good shape, I'd offer $200 for it. Just make sure it is the Pro model, not the Hustler model. Just as an fyi, that photo is from another bmx site. It's possible that the seller is the same person who posted it on the museum, but you might want to make sure the bike being sold is the one in the photo. Here's a link to the bike. http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/general/10610
  7. It either pops off or screws off, I can't remember for sure. If you haven't gotten it off yet, I can check one of mine this evening.
  8. Did you remove the cap from the front of the pivot bolt? Underneath that you'll see the actual pivot bolt, and IIRC you use an allen wrench to turn the bolt. Of course, when you get to that point, make sure to disassemble it carefully, as you don't want all those tiny bearings to spill onto your floor.
  9. Sounds like an '88 RL20II. Color was called Mango. There's one in the freestyle BOTY.
  10. Possibly a Cycle Pro. They had the flat indentation on the top tube, and the wrap around platform.
  11. Got any pics of those Norcos? Weren't they made by Anlun?
  12. Great shot Brian, looking forward to the rest of the ride pics. :24:
