  1. The very last left in existence of "B" on this list is on it's way to me.
  2. Link to song lyrics I remembered from the late 90's with an OS bmx reference. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=rode+by+on+his+hutch
  3. IHawk in the house. Glad to see you around! What you still have Pat?
  4. I wish Jon had been THE ONE! I see no regret or internal reflection on how another path could have been chosen, I don't know it just speaks volumes. I guess we are just different and have different priorities and passions about this hobby, the people in it, the quality of people we choose to surround ourselves with. As for sour grapes....NO, I'd much rather have Tom in this world, much more so than anything he owned. I've said my piece, done with this. FYI Jon did text me.....NOT ONCE has he expressed any condolence for the loss of a friend. Just his justification for what he was a part of.
  5. A FELLOW COLLECTOR (actually one the first collectors) passes away and it is an "opportunity of a lifetime" because the family does not have the knowledge?? I guess the real question is about being just "1 of 30" "hobbyists" that took advantage of a situation rather than being THE 1 that tried to be truly honorable and help. This could have been any one of us that passed suddenly......now, think about how you would feel about 1 of those 30 that seized upon your death as an opportunity. Tom was a friend and I was trying to give the family space to grieve before reaching out to offer advice. I shouldn't have expected more of this community than I assumed, I should have remembered vultures don't wait. Yes, I do blame myself as well!!!
  6. Hi Greg,

I am having some difficulty determining whether this is an LRV, a Robinson, or one of those instances LRV frames Robinson used before starting RRG.  Any help would be appreciated greatly.  It is a nickel finish to boot!

Thanks, and I hope this finds you well.

  9. DAMMIT TOM!! I had a build planned and you literally just about stole it!! I have a survivor JMC same color and mint cond., but mine has Chrome fork. Was gonna build it almost identically right down to those Drillium hubs. It's OK though cause I would've never had the time to put mine together, so I'll just look at yours! Better pics of the hubs...I bet most of these fossils have never seen or heard of them. Do you know the story of why/how those hubs exist????
  10. Did you live in Midlothian or Markhem, used to come to the races with a friend who was black and a year or 2 older, and had a sister a couple years older?
  11. Don't have any Robinsons in the stable anymore, but I sure do like em. Your Number 031 is sure a nice low serial number find!!!
  12. Bump for Steve's registry. There are some pics serial numbers and weights in this thread. Also some who may still own theirs???? Curt weighed his wide loop with the top of the seat mast broke off....... 5lb 9oz.
  13. I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong, that the higher quality SE complete bikes (JU, Pk, Quad, OM, Floval) were always referred to as "Killer" or "Killer Completes" or Killer Kits". I am pretty sure this description began in the late 70's and carried through.
  14. The early Free Agents are always interesting! Neat colors, nice decals, and quality race rigs! I LIKE IT!!
