Antdog, looks like you guys had fun and sun!! Something we don't get too much over here in Blighty. Check out the Radbmx os racing site, from a couple of members starting up a series a couple of years ago it has spawned into a well supported and competed in series in its own right. http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=30.0 Good luck with it. Paul

b.cal I agree but discounting the new grips being made, it seems any of the appropriate age black grips are like rocking horse droppings!! The alternative would be for a different colour padded goose seat, but I guess these are still rare items! Longest wait for some items were the pads and bars, which before I had a goose seemed to be almost readily available, but as soon as I started to look for some they seemed to have all been bought up!

I have recently completed the restoration of what I received as a very tired looking motomag frame only. Re-powdered by SuperbikeDan over here, the UK equivalent of Chip at C4 Labs! The NOS parts are the Tuff 1's, forks, seat post (thanks for shipping Snorton), tyres, chain, pedals and grips, the other parts are cleaned up good used items, apart from the seat which is the main item I would like to change up for a better one. I have some mmII's but decided to stick with the option look of the Tuff's! Paul

I too have bought a black one, but looking at the pic now it does look moody. The sellers is Vanyachka with 100% feedback. For $14.95 plus shipping I'm not too concerned, but it is disappointing to note that the last 2 attempts to buy headsets I have been caught up in fakes!!! Should have paid more attention, look at the lock nut very un-Tange!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...N:IT&ih=018

My best was pinchless flites and bb for $100 plus shipping to UK from US.

Damn, I have not been here for a few weeks and missed this issue. In the meantime I have bought 2 red headsets. Coincidentally I mailed him this am asking for shipping confirmation as nothing is here yet. I will now mail and ask if the red ones are also new but painted by him and pursue a refund. -
What pedals are they too??

This is the earliest Tuff Neck I have, not sure if it is the earliest?? Unfortunately I didn't win the bike these Star bars were on but certainly the earliest (decal at least) I have seen. Paul -

nice pics, interesting to note both you and your mate ran the turbo cranks though, had you switched rides from DB?? -
I do like both hubs. I have bullseyes on my GT in a rare black and pewter colour way. Also have the suntours that were stock on some 83 period bikes like the Carrera II and also the Kuwi Laserlite.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the bike. The Femco's look the business but I'm sure weigh a ton. I need some of the old 105 gauge spokes so if anyone knows where to source any could they let me know please. I have a pair of &b's waiting for some new uns. Thanks Paul -
