  5. I used the London Mod on my white PC as well....this set up makes the Dyno Spintech work so much better.
  6. Nice shots Matt, wish I had your flat land skills!
  7. Crazy these are still out there like that! Very cool addition to the collection!
  8. Brian, I really wanted to get this up and running, I don't have a lower 1st gen and had the Snafu cables so had to tweak the break a bit with a bit of modification and got it going with this set up. Like I said, still have things I want to change and the break set up is one of them.
  9. Here is the first go at this one, I don't have all the parts that I want for it but put it together whit what I did have. Mix of survivor, NOS, refinished, and new parts. 10. I understand where you are coming from.
  11. I just don't think it is cool to dis people on the different sites like that, hell you post more over there than you do here.
  12. I think context is key here, Neil being one of the foremost collectors of RL20IIs has a deeper than most appreciation for them. I can totally see why you said "It just strikes me as the saddest thing I have seen in my years of being a collector." I think the S&M guys who ripped me for taking the stickers off my Widowmaker said the same thing. I said the same thing when I was out bid on the matching fork to the 88 Pro Compe frame I won and when I asked if I could purchase the fork from him he told me it was already stripped and powdered white. It stings the most when it is one of your favorites for sure. I don't like reading these threads seeing crap like I am the owl posted though;"Those guys (for the most part), just don't care about the history of the original part/ frame, whatever. ", and "that place is generally like a bunch of frat boys, stroking each others cocks.", really dude? That is a pretty wide bush you are using, a lot of respected members here contribute quite a bit to that site as well.
  13. I think some people loose sleep over what OTHER people do to THEIR bikes. Not going to be able to say anything that hasn't been said before (on either site) to sway anoyone either way but IMO the owner has every right to do what they want with their bike.
  14. Here are some from the various Colorado get togethers
  15. Man I really want to make this one next year! Great pics and write up Brian!
