990 brakes vs regular?
xchoppersporvida replied to Night Stalker's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
here these are 990 style brakes http://www.danscomp.com/480004.php?cat=PARTS and their mounts look like this: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/latt...de/100_3804.jpg http://img.timeinc.net/bmx/content/images/...ior/image_4.jpg and these are regular U brakes: http://www.danscomp.com/484009.php?cat=PARTS and they mount on a tube or plate in the frame with a hole drilled in it. -

Awsome brian i knew youd be quick to reply, thanks. But yea we have had a huge problem with people stealin from there lately. we had to get a camera and shit, and it sucks cause its not like Rusty is a prick or anything, and hed be glad to hook anyone up, but not when they steal shit. Its mostly just punk kids too whos parents would buy them anything. but yea guys keep your eyes on craigslist too if your on it or somethign and ebay too. and i dunno about a reward or anything, but liek i said rusty is a cool dude and will hook you up if you could help out. -
Hey guys hows it goin? I havent been around here in a while but im still into the old bikes and i visit and here from time to time to check up on everything. But anyway, yesterday a bike was stolen from the shop i work at: Ryans bikes in Berlin NJ, a couple of you South Jersey guys probably know it. It was a brand new grey and yellow Eastern Shovelhead. The kid (about 6 foot with dark hair) came up to our front display with bolt cutters and cut the chain/lock and rode down to the bar down the street with it. My boss was a couple seconds behind in his truck and by the time he got there he saw a white sedan driving out and thought that couldnt be him that was to fast, but the bike was no where to be found and neither was the kid and everyone who was outside smokin "Didnt see anything". So i was just wonderin if some of you south Jersey guys, i know theres a few of ya on here, could keep an eye out for this bike/kid. we havent sold any of these bikes yet so there shouldnt be a whole lot around. If you guys could keep an eye out that would be great. If you see it you can call the shop at 856 767 5270, or the cops whatever you think would be best. thanks in advance guys. the bike looks like this: http://www.danscomp.com/101181.php?cat=BIKES# again thanks guys -derek

Hey guys hows it goin? Havent posted in a while but i still visit here from time to time. How is everyone doin? I have a question for you guys. Im building up an 87 haro sport for my daily ride and im curious what are some good rims i could put on it? its gonna be used for a little bit of everything, freestyle, street, dirt and trail riding, what are my best options for rims?
