  1. I just swiched from a podium to a 38special. Wow is all I can say. Try one if you get a chance. Also the 125R is very popular this year.
  2. Sweet bike! I also dig the color, but SS bars and a gold stem would be the finishing touches for me,
  3. That is sweet. I would paint in the SE tan and build a killer tribute bike!
  4. really? i thought they were 20 even center to center Thanks guys! Yep your right it is a 20 TT
  5. Thanks, the original finish was a black to green fade with a vans sticker. Sort of cool but pretty rough also.
  6. When I got my son a mini I had the option on rim size and went with 1 3/8 instead of 1 1/8 so I could use them with a junior. I still ran 1 1/8 tires on the 1 3/8 rims with no problems.
  7. no doubt, the height is good but I would cut 3/4 of each side to feel at home. I will not spare these though! Probably I would get a pair of SE 10 inch bars and run them at a 27.5 width
  8. Thanks guys, it rides real nice. I needed a higher stem then a Pro Neck and bigger bars than SE 8 inch powerwings to make it feel right. I am not one for having excess quill above the top nut. Just seems to have too much flex. So the DB bars and suntour stem feel real nice. The chain still scares me since there is no master link so I won't try to get on the gas till I have that fixed. Here are some more pics.
  9. Just renewed my subscription and will add more pics once it takes effect. Here is another for now. Enjoy
  10. Hey guys, just wanted to post up a few pics of my RA-7 build. I got the frame off of the bay about 2 years ago and sat on it for a while. Last winter I had Rod fix up the dropouts which had some mild damage. Other than that there were no cracks, dents or rewwels. I went with the centerline RF-2M fork but would rather go with the RF-M slantline because I just can't seem to get use to the rake on the centerline. Both are powdercoated in a dark candy red. Here is the parts list. RA-7 frame 20.5 TT RF-M2 forks DB Pro bars 29.5 inches wide (thanks Ryan) Suntour Power stem Tioga SL 4 headset (improperly stickerd Tange 125) Oakley F-1 grips DC MX 1000 with tech III lever (thanks DMG for paying it forward) Takagi cranks KKT pedals ACS z-rims Bullseye bolt through hubs Comp III copies Kashimax Aero seat SE post DC seatpost clamp Skyway finned pads KMC chain (will pay top dollar for a blue/silver Izumi if you got it) Real Race Inc pads
  11. Very sweet Jon, great parts and color sceme!
  12. There is a dude that is racing a TFL with 1/2 tritons in the PA state series. Sick bike but I bet he would be faster with some new school geometry.
