  1. I'll take the GT seat post if it's still available. PM your paypal address to me and I'll check back in a bit. Thanks. PAID AND THANKS!
  2. I have a pair of Takagi Cr-Mo 180X28. Look like the ones on the top and have owned them since about 1986. Don't know why they aren't 24 tpi....
  3. I showed this one once before about 6 months ago, but this is my replica of the T/A I had as a kid. Took me a long time to find the exact parts, but worth the wait. It was heavily inspired my Scott Freeman's T/A and the BMX Freestyle book posted earlier in this thread. I picked that book up new at a school book fair way back when.
  4. 83-87 for me. I was only 10 in 1983 and fell in love with the new Schwinn Predator at the LBS. By early 85 I started reading BMX Action and BMX Plus. By 1987-88, I started reading car magazines like Car Craft, Hot Rod, and Super Chevy. Once the cars came, I forgot all about the bikes... til about 6 years ago anyway.
  5. Since this will be for your daughter, it might look cool with purple components. Purple is usually easy to come by, and you won't break the bank
  6. I would say that is about right. I replaced my original Tuff Pads on my T/A in 86, thinking they would be the same, but Frankford BMX sent me the "new" 2nd Gen Tuff Pads, like the ones you pictured.
  7. My parts list will be: UKAI Speedlines Suntour/ACS Freecoaster Rear Suntour Sealed Front Takagi OPC Sugino Chainwheel Tioga Post Dyna or Dominator Seat A'me Tri's (old ones) Nippons Front and Rear w/Tech 3's or 4's KKT SMX Pedals or VP 300's (I have both) Bars and tires are up in the air at this point... but I'd like some Woody Bars and some Tioga Comp ST's And some sort of axle pegs
  8. Started cleaning... The decals are in really nice shape, just wish the red wasn't faded so bad. No way I'd ever think of replacing them! Found a nice blue DC clamp that is faded slightly... looks right at home. The ACS45 stem is all OG as well, including the decal.
  9. Yes sir... June of 85 serial and 86's had bolt on fork standers
  10. I normally don't buy off Ebay, but couldn't pass this up for the winning bid of $160. 1985 Haro FST. OG paint and decals, although the red has faded badly. It arrived today and I tore it all down already. A lot of the parts were not correct, so I'm gonna build it up using some of my favorite parts. Making a rider outta this one. "borrowed pic from the bay". I'll post some after cleanup.
  11. Think I posted this one already, but anywho... bought this from my LBS back in the 80's. Never stuck it to anything, just stashed away in a drawer all these years.
  12. Welcome. And thanks for shipping my chainring out so fast (purchased on museum)!
  13. Hmmm, that pink and white General Scoot sure looks familiar
  14. I actually could of used those tonight... after a tall Mountain Dew and a few beers, I had a 1 hour drive home... nearly pissed my pants in the car on the way home
