  1. Awesome bike man! The paint is amazing. It looks like it weighs a ton though, is it heavy? In either case it's awesome!
  2. LOL, no ignorance. I'm not positive what their for, iv'e heard they keep the spokes tight, but I doubt it. I just did it for some color accents. Thanks for the comments guys!!!
  3. Been a while since iv'e done one of these. I used to have 5-spoke skyway tuffs on this but the brakeing surface on those is beyond shit. I also had some other old parts on it. I had a 91 haro master frame with alot of the new stuff on it since the master had more modern geometry but I was more comfy and all on the F.S.T.(this frame) so I threw all the new stuff on it. I put some forks with a threadless steerer tube on it so I can run a gyro and a better stem. I also ordered a 23t sprocket and an ody 1-pc 10t driver for it. Remember in flat you ussually want a slightly offset gear ratio. I was gonna do 28-12 but my lockring got ****ed and albes had the 23t sprockets on sale so... Before you talk shit remember that I use this bike for flat and that some of the stuff is 20+ years old so if you wanna say somethin shitty, don't bother typing a response. LOL it rides great too, the 23-10 is so perfect for flatland, but sucks for goin places! I also threw in an old ridin photo of me messin around in the kitchen with the old setup. LMK what you guys think!
  4. Try to find an early 90's(89-92) haro master/sport/shredder/revo They all had the old school frame style but are built like tanks. Their a little on the hefty side but me a 210lbs and about 5'10 can throw my 35lbs 91 ground master around like nothing so im sure you won't have any trouble. You can paint and sticker them like older models and they won't drain your wallet.
  5. thats realy great man. your a good pop to your kids LOL
  6. i just fill mine to about 15-20psi and then i go around the wheel and straighten it out by hand. just use a rise in the tire or somethin and make sure its evenly spaced from the sidewall all the way around. make sure you do it on both sides. you cant get it perfect but you can get it 90% even. i have the same problem on tuffs and this fixes it, GOOD LUCK!!!
  7. thanks bro, no offense taken, i dont have any other stands besides the tioga ones, i personally dont like the angled feel but im flat broke so i was tryin to see if their was a way to fix em. for now ill use pegs and eventually i can get some normal stands wich work just fine on the fst.anyone got some normal stands theyed be willin to let go for around 10 bucks or under
  8. i know how to ride with pegs i just like the look of stands, hell ridin with pegs is easier but imo stands look cooler.
  9. hey guys, well a little while back i found some tioga angled framestands at the lbs and i used em on a gt performer for a little while and no problems. but when i got my fst i realized their was a problem, you know the part that rest on the cs, well their was a coaster bracket in the way. after a little bending i got em to fit but after ridin them a few times i realized that the one that i had to hook in the coaster bracket was startin to bend down. i bent it back and took em off. after tryin pegs i want my stands back but dont want to bend em again, is their anything i can do to prevent them from bending again. thanks tony,
  10. hey guys, a friend let me borrow a freestyle vhs that he had owned since 86 and it got all mashed up in my vcr i tried and failed to fix the tape but i figured maybe someone might own this and could upload it or somethin for me. i know its a longshot but i need to try somethin. when i get home i can upload pics of the cover but for now this is all i got. title-freestyle bmx 1. it was made in 1986 2. it was made buy simitar 3. it featured bmx, snowboarding and skateboarding 4. it was approximately 30 minutes long 5. as far as i can tell the riders werent super famous 6. their was a gt and a kuwahara exibitionist among others 7. their was a 2 minute section on jumping bikes into a lake 8. part of the skate section was held a the famous pipeline bowl. i know its not much but im desperate. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks tony,
  11. what kinda bike is it. i wouldnt mind sendin some $ for shipping if i can have em for free.
  12. was that a common place for those post to bend cause i have a post bent exactly like that in the same 2 spots. i know one bend was their but i thought the other was also done from the factory, am i wrong.
  13. THAT FUCKING LIAR!!! i sent him some pics of the bike to see what it looked like and he goes on their tellin everyone he bought it off me. what a dickhead, whats the point of that. hes just takin advantage of the fact that i cant post on their. this pisses me off sooooooo bad. dont listen to him, its still mine, i havnt sold it. to prove it ill post pics taken yesterday of some changes i made.
  14. hey guys, what was the earliest year you remember people using axle pegs, i know stands have been around for a while but how about axle pegs. thanks tony,
