No stamp, no decal. The clamp area is a bit compressed from the brute stem it was mounted on. $115 shipped.

MotoTrac by BMX Products

Not sure how to value this one as I can’t find a record of one that sold. Let me start by asking $950 shipped obo. Oxidized and some rust but it doesn’t look too serious. Mongoose stamped B.B./headset/seatpost clamp/snowflake sprocket. Team cycle seat, pads and front brake. No visible dents or cracks in the f/f. All motomag webbing is intact with no cracks. Will part out if it doesn’t sell as complete. Tires and seat post are shot. No pedals.

Anyone know the story about Moto Trac bikes? Obviously made by BMX Products.

This one was donated recently.

1982? Mongoose

08 October 2017 - 09:00 PM

Really nice survivor that looks to be in 100% original condition. The following are stamped Mongoose”:
Grips, headset, bottom bracket, seatpost clamp, rear reflector mount, chain wheel. The tires are even “Mongoose Approved” Cheng Shins. Front tire has nice knobbies still. The rear has been coaster brake skidded to the threads in one spot.
Surface rust on most of the chrome including the steel rims but I’m confident that will come off readily. There is a broken spoke on the rear wheel but neither the rim or hub appear to be damaged. Really nice survivor over all. Initial asking price is $700 shipped to the lower 48. I did some research on the part out value but I’d rather not do that. I’ll listen to offers after a couple days. All proceeds to benefit bikesfortheworld.org
