:22: 302zapper on the bay offers those kits.
-
hey guys, just purchased a uni extreme seat off the bay thinking it would fit my hutch rider. no way, this thing has a thick seatpost. i bought this uni thinking it would have no flex and be cool for a 34 year old 175 pound fool but looks like no luck. did anybody come across this problem or did anyone ever take one of these to a machine shop to get brought down on a lathe? if not, its up for grabs for a trade. dread

thanks astrodamus! dread

willinois, i don't get it. first alcohol then a red sharpie marker! man those things look nice. my rims look just like the before pics. i'm thinking about going the rit dye route. dread
-
what would be the prep for z rims before the dye job?
-
ok, i got the rit part of it, but would i have to clean up the red and blue z rims before applying dye for an even application? dread :25:
-
Is it possible? I have two sets of z-rims, red and blue, and they are in desperate need of a resto. They're sun faded and dull. How do we get these babies to shine again? dread

dreadzeppelin replied to dreadzeppelin's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
thanks plux. i just got it back from the bike shop. they chased them, but i have to go back for another chasing. they said there was some weld interference from the downtube. i'm bringing it back today. dread -
jimmy, did they chrome the inside of the crank arm where the shaft goes? if its triple plated, it could be pretty thick. dread

does anybody have a resource for a good bottom euro bottom bracket tool to install and remove the threaded cups? the tool that came with the kit is pretty flimsy and one of the cups is really tight threading in. please help!!! dread
