  1. Congrats!! Nothing in this world beats being a dad...enjoy the ride! Brixton - cool name and a good lookin' little guy! (saw his pic on FB)
  2. My prayers are with your Mom Brian. I hope the slam is rockin' tonight! Wish I could have made it...
  3. One of my bikes back in the day. I just had to do a reenactment!!
  4. I have a FST frame, forks and bars i need to list on the bay. I've just been too busy to take it apart and get it listed!
  5. I don't recall these either. However, IF they did make some, I would be they would have yellow'ed like a mofo over the years.
  6. A couple of old pics I may have posted before...I dont remember!
  7. Check out from 1:43 to 2:12 in this video. THAT IS SICK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEtxk8QeWLA
  8. Ever see Mulders "superman rope-a-roni"? Totally insane...He had a video of it on you-tube but he removed it for some reason. Maybe theres a video of him doing it on another site.
  9. I agree 100% When looking for ORIGINAL riding, its pretty damn hard to find nowadays. Lee Musselwhite comes to mind when i think original. He may not be "the greatest in the world as rated by judges" but he certainly rides with an effort to do things differently than all others. its a clip thats almost 2 years old now and its still amazing in my opinion.
  10. I'm not flaming the guy WHATSOEVER. Dolan is incredible! Not only does he get a hell of a lot of respect from you guys, he gets ALL of my respect. His links are beautiful to say the least and the way he goes from trick "A" to trick "B" is cool. I was just stating I've seen tricks "A & B" a million times. This is all a moot point though, becuase there's no school like the OLD SCHOOL!!
  11. I actually have a picture of me pulling a Expert racer frame and fork out of the box on Chirstmas Morning. The pic is at my Mom's house somewhere. I have to get it and scan it to put it up on here! I am 37 year old now and it still remains as the greatest X-mas present I ever got to this day. It was such a huge deal because I grew up in a family with not much money, but my mom and dad saved up to get it for me!
  12. Dolans balance is AMAZING...but to be honest, I didn't see one single original trick in that 6 minuts of riding. However, its amazing nonetheless.
  13. Woody, Thanks for the mini-story! I think most riders didnt really care for the contest scene all that much, but it was sort of something we all "had" to do, especially the sponsored riders. Personally, I thought the jam circles were the best reason to even go to contests in the first place. As for the tours, going to those was as great as going to a damn rock concert. Me and my buddies would get so amped at least a week before the Hutch or CW van even rolled into town. Back then seeing the sponsored riders in motion was surreal. After all, the only videos on the market was BMX Plus Raddest Tricks! So believe me - as a spectator of touring bike companies, your show performances were legendary and defined who you (and others) were as a rider. Take a guy like Dizz for example. He certainly wasn't one of the best freestylers in the world, but few could put on a SHOW like Dizz. If you have a moment and want to see some original modern day flat unlike anyone else's, check out this clip:
  14. By the way, here's some footage of Woody from the same day. The L-sit to Top Gun is STUNNING to say the least! Also, I like the rollback bar hop. I tried this trick twice back in the day and slammed horribly both times. Therefore, I never tried it again!
