  1. Wow I just looked over on the museum and saw that picture you are talking about. This is the first time I have ever posted a picture of it. That must be the guy that bought it from me? I am not sure but it looks great. Wow it sure changed hands alot it seems in a short amount of time. The bars I had on it are first gen Slam bars, I wish I would of had the Brackens bars you have for it now that is a sweet set. Jive grips are sweet they are the ultimate mid school grip in my opinion. I even have a set of red Jive grips that are minis that go over your valve stems. I had them on the Brackens but in those pictures they are not on the wheels. I still have everything from that bike but obviously the frame, fork, and cranks. All the parts are on my Reust now. I am excited to see what it looks like when you finish it. Take care
  2. Yeah that is my old bike. That is amazing to me that it has gone through a couple of people now. I dont remember the name of the person I sold it to, it was through ebay but I for sure didnt send it out to Australia. I was the second owner of that frame and the guy I got it from moved here where I live from Oregon and he told me he got it from Tommy Brackens himself. I rode it for alot of years and had a great time on it. It sure looks good the build your doing on it. Please post the end results so I can check it out. Take care.
  3. Here it is when I was riding it. All of the parts went on another frame I have had for a long time except I sold the cranks also. That frame is a really nice bike to ride I really enjoyed it.
  4. Green Griffin I am pretty positive that XL is the size of that frame. That thing is the longest bike I ever owned and when I bought it I was told it was a xl size. I have some pictures of it when it was built up if you want to see what it looked like when I rode it. That bike is one of two that I regret selling but I needed the money at the time. The other was my S&M Maddog frame I sold to a guy over in the UK last year. Take it easy.
  5. Jeff Venekamp's Rockford 2001 event winning JMC Andy Patterson this is the ultimate for me. I look at this picture all the time.
  6. I know its not a cruiser but here is my 20 inch Reust that I have had since the early 90s. Its a 93 and it was the first bike that I got that had a long top tube.
  7. Sweet looking build i always liked the white TA over the chrome ones, Nice save :32:
  8. Sweet build it looks great. I will say that those Haro seats are so comfortable i still run one on my rider and awhile ago i switched it out for a smaller seat from Shadow but it was so uncomfortable compared to the Haro that I switched back to it. Anyway very cool build
  9. Jim happy birthday You are a true inspiration to what I myself and I am sure alot of the members on here hope to be like someday. Your patience and knowledge is unmatched. Thanks for taking the time when a nobody like myself needs a little information about the masterpieces you manufactured for us. You have never made me feel like any of my questions are stupid and I really apprecitate all your time. My fondest and most memorable childhood thoughts are of the good times I had on my JMC Andy Paterson growing up. Thanks for everything.
  10. WOW Congrats :32: dkiernan and your brother in law i hope you get some kind of bonus for running the auction and doing the research. Im sure whoever bought it will love it.
  11. Shinglehead is that the Andy Patterson that won best 20" at Rockford 2001 because it looks like the one from the coverage of that show?
  12. Wow your brother in law has pulled out the grail of items the frame and fork, post and now the jacket and pants does it ever end? Nice stuff he has kept a hold of.
