  1. I know "Moonster" well (didn't know that was the name he was using until I looked up his posts), he doesn't come on here now days. Among others, he is also a good source of info on Japanese stuff, knows Kashimax well and seems to know many old school companies here in Japan. Cannot fathom why you thought I was him though
  2. 1. The date codes on new Aeros cannot be mistaken for old seats and it has been this way since the return of the Aero 2. The MX was never made and probably will never be despite what was reported to have been seen in 2008. So date discussions are moot where the MX is concerned. My guess is that what was seen in 2008 were NOS ones that they still have (and I know they do have them) to show people what was coming (but never did).
  3. What are you talking about evasive? Stop being intrusive. Its not being sensitive, I simply wanted to pass on info that I have. I don't like to see stuff being copied and I don't like it when incorrect information is passed around as though it were fact. I'm just helping to clarify. What I have written is common knowledge here in Japan for old schoolers. Yes I know Kashimax, everyone does, through friends that have shops, events etc, he talks to everyone and everyone knows he is not making MX's, it's nothing special. Just one thing though, if you avoid the saddle even if they are date stamped then I guess I really don't understand your thought process. Can't you just check the date and then say "oh ok that's a reissue, don't want that"
  4. New Aeros and RS seats are date stamped. They may have shown some old MX's in 2008 when they intended to make them again but they never did. Why would they now that that some copier has ripped off the MX (among other things) with Chinese copies. These are the people to avoid not kashimax
  5. Yes and no, got a half made ET though if that counts. What's with the 3rd degree, I knew I shouldn't have tried to help. Starting to regret it now. Sorry to bother you all, and good luck
  6. Yes, I joined again just to post some info that I thought was helpful (and factual) but it seems not.
  7. Hi, were you previously a member here, using a different user name? Kindly advise if so. Yes I was, many years ago but no idea what I was using back then. Have had several new computers since then and was in and out of the hobby over the years. Was never one to comment much but enjoyed reading the posts until they got a bit hostile (like the one below this).
  8. Despite this (its been up there years) the are not making MX's. The recent ones you have seen are probably the Auzzie copiers ones I mentioned earlier
  9. Kashimax are not remaking the MX. Aero, RS and handler yes but not MX. There is a guy in Australia that has got some Chinese copies made with the same "MX" stamp on the side.
