In Topic: REGISTER: BMX Society x Valley Relics Vintage BMX Show 5-18-2019

Also, I've mentioned this, but I feel I need to do it often - we can't bring our vehicles into the show this year. That means porting your EZ up and bikes into the show from nearby parking. It's going to be a bit more work for people, so I suggest figuring out ways to put wheels under your gear - a wagon or a dolly or whatever. It's going to be a little bit of a schlep.

Not to belabor this, but some who expect to register the day of show, may find there aren't spaces. Reserve by registering.

I just don't want it to come as a surprise, so I feel compelled to issue warnings that it could easily pan out this way. You may be ok, but no guarantee. Space is limited. Unregistered people will not even be able to enter the plaza before 8:30 AM. No exceptions. Registered people on the other hand should be prepared to be there prior to that to claim your reserved space. We can't hold it. Registered people will be receiving an e-mail with load in procedure. PLEASE, please read that. It will make things go much smoother for you. It will come out the week before the show.

Also, I'd like to ask that to facilitate faster processing of registration pack pick up the morning of the show, AS WELL AS access to the plaza itself for load in by those who are registered, it would be very helpful if you have a printout of your registration. We will have the master list, but I promise it will save you time if you can just present your registration email.

Folks... I have so much going on right now.  I just wanted to say - I REALLY appreciate those of you that have sent donations ear-marked for site repairs.  Nothing is going fast unfortunately.  Your hard earned will be helpful and will get this place back in shape.  I'm still trying to find the best options.  I will try to respond to you all properly soon.

Well a set of VDC Monkey Bars for sale at Museum. Guy says they are new and locally made. Not sure of his location.
That pretty much sucks.

possibly Puerto Rico... seems like VDC bars are coming from there now.  I saw that on FB too,.

thanks guys, I'm planning on having a conference call soon, probably Thurs or Fri to speak with an expert with both servers and the software side of things and he's going to survey our situation and see if he can suggest some viable and money saving solutions.  Basically it's consultation with an expert. This was also hooked up by site members, so I appreciate you guys' assistance with all this.

Will keep you in the loop.

We'll lock it down and keep it going, no worries there.  Just trying to find the best deal to make this sustainable.
