1999 Standard 125R Cruiser

25 June 2018 - 11:03 PM

Thought I would share my favourite ride

Got this frame from Chris (njracer) back in 2014

You know the feeling when you ride a bike and it just seems right , this is mine

This took a over a year to find all the parts I wanted , still a few things I want to change but I'm getting there

Maybe some Odyssey A brakes and some Jive grips

Hardest part to find was the SBC Destroy seatpost clamp , my wife found it for me on Ebay UK

So smooth and fast , just the right weight

Great Mate & a PK Ripper

18 June 2018 - 11:14 PM

Been talking about buying a Loopy Pk for years , finally happened  :)

A mate I ride with has a excellent collection of survivor bikes , nothing restored , all very cool

Got a text message saying he was thinking of selling off some of his collection

He had 2 PK Rippers so he said he would let one go if I was interested

Got another message with this pic attached

Nice frame no cracks or repairs PK67729 , thinks around 1983

I could buy it as pictured or choose from lots of other parts to make it how I wanted

My Widowmaker story

24 October 2014 - 08:35 PM

Though I would share my story with you , as we all know how it feels to acquire the bike we crave to own

It all started with an Ebay listing mid 2011

Here's the Ebay item description and some pics from the listing
The seller was Dave Parrick

Up for Auction is my near MINT condition S&M Widowmaker cruiser.
Got it from S&M in 1994 while producing the S&M video "BMX Inferno".

At the time Chris Moeller ran out of Widowmaker stickers so I used a Holmes downtube
sticker instead .
It is 100% a widowmaker!! Serial # SMC2180
Rode it around my neighborhood only once and never rode it again.
Never hit a jump! Never been on dirt!!
It has sat partially disassembled in my garage and storage unit for the past 17 years.
Time to let it go.
The only flaw i need to mention is faint pitting/spotting in the chrome along with
some minor scuffs from storage and being moved around.
I'm being very picky but still wanted to mention it.

Don't get me wrong, this is about the nicest Widowmaker you will ever find

I'll be posting more pictures in the next day or so. Just wanted to get this party started!!

S&M Widowmaker Frame and Fork
S&M Gay bars (VERY RARE!)
S&M Redneck- 1" shafted stem- Black!!! (Rare)
Haro Fusion cranks (made by Profile!) 175mm
Redline 42T chain ring
Shimano SX pedals- black
Velo large padded seat
Seat post- generic chrome straight post.
GT double seat clamp

Keep in mind all parts are in unused condition!
Redline sprocket has a couple of teeth that got slightly crunched (very minor) from
getting bumped around over the years. nothing major or distracting.
just being picky again...
Frame sticker and head tube sticker are also a bit scuffed from storage.

Also included are the original wheels. Unfortunately time was not as kind to the chrome on these.
Front wheel is very nice but the rear rim has some issues.

Araya 7X 24" Chrome rims w/Suzue silver aluminum sealed hubs

Front wheel is in really good condition with minor pitting in the chrome.

Rear wheel needs some attention..
Chrome on the rim is flaking. and quite a bit of chrome pitting.
Hub is excellent and freewheel is excellent.
16T Shimano freewheel

Wheels are perfectly straight.
