Jag Applestick Green Paint Code
meatpie72 replied to meatpie72's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
Here's a link to the Jag catolog on my mates Goose site. I'm asuming that you've already seen this canogapark... If not here's the link..... Way too hard to get a decent color match from a computer screen i think... Although the above Applestick Green powder job doesn't look too far off imo.. http://www.vintagemongoose.com/pdfs/jag-cat.pdf That Buttermilk Sand Team Jag is by far my favorite of the lot by far!! -

This is a frame that a member on here(i think) had powdercoated many moons ago. He told me that the color match wasn't quite right... -
Jag Applestick Green Paint Code

There would have to be someone on this site that can help us out cangapark... I suppose all we can do now is sit and wait... I hope you have some luck with finding your code mate... The reason that this build is so important to me is that the 2nd ever BMX (1st USA built) that i ever layed eyes on, was a JAG... Even though it was in 79 it had such an inpact on me that i'll never forget the feeling i got when i saw those straight tubes and chrome finish that was on it.... The guy that owned it let me have a quick ride on it (even though i didn't know him!) The 1st thing that hit me was the size of the front tire and how well it rode across sand compared to my cheap Stingray copy. It was love at 1st sight -
Hey Guy's i really need to find the paint code for Applestick Green so i can finish my Jag build that i've wanted to finish for about 3 years now... Even if somebody has a flake of it that they could send to me so i can match it myself would be great... I've got everything else for this build already.... eg: Motomag II's, Ashtabula forks & cranks. Snowflake sprocket Jag pads everything bar the exact color match. I have seen the catologs with the color in it but it would be impossible to get the exact match through those..... Can anybody help........... PLEASE ????????

My laptop went down, lost my phone with everybody's #'s on it so i pretty much dropped off the face of the earth.... Been very busy with my band, so that has taken up most of my time... Get in touch with Pete Porker for my # or even Reece. I'm usin someone else's computer so i haven't got an email..... as yet. Glad to be back as i have some unfinished business to attend to... Back to the topic........ Has anybody ever seen a G Boy in OZ????
-
I've always wondered about that G Boy that was in the back of the Hard Cover book BMX Down Under as i've never seen one in the flesh..... So now i know !!!!!
-
Totally speachless It's a real shame that we didn't get many DG's make it Down Under.... Otherwise i would have one without a doubt.

What's not to love about 26" BMX'S .... Also a Torker to boot... I've got 90% of the 20" that i've ever wanted so Cruisers get me the most excited !!!

The Kos is my favourite Goose by far!!! and yours really stands out in a crowd... Top work. I only just dug out mine for a ride last week after lettin it sit for well over a year... They just feel so much better to ride than all of the other Gooses.. Maybe it's because of my MX background ???

Picked this up yesterday. Thought I'd share.....

Great score!!!! Two Four's are getting pretty hard to get hold of aren't they??? Are they harder to come across than a Kos Kruiser?? Someone just the other day told me that they were.. Is that true??? I've got a TwoFour and i can tell you that they ride great!!!!! I just love cruisers :-) (-: -
I feel real sorry for your mate Ed... To lose such a rare bike like that is life changing(i know how he feels) Can you post a pic of it?? I know that i'll never ever see it over here in Australia but you just never know who might just run into it over there.. Stranger things have happened.... They way that most people are in this hobby... I mean eyesight set on oldschoolbmx scan mode.... you just never know!! I can spot an oldschool bike at 200ft.. I hope that he gets it back . I have just recently been back looking at ebay and have seen many high priced bikes going for way less than i thought that thay would..... Why is this??? Scotty

meatpie72 replied to thumperpilot's topic in Riding, Research & Collecting
How cool is this!!! I'll be good for at least 5 sets atm.... All we need now is some complete padsets.... If anyone knows of anyone doing these please PM me My life would be near complete if they started making Mongoose tires again..... Scotty -
I'm pretty pissed off that about a year & a half ago i had the chance to by a pre 80's JMC for a very..........very good price and i didn't have the money just floating around like i try to.... If it happened tomorrow i would be even more pissed off because i'm in the same position.... One day i'll have one Jim...........................................One day
