  1. I like the weird stuff. Just remember on the fork rake, this has no leading axle dropout. Look at a set of Race Inc pinch bottom forks rake looks just as wacky. And thanks to Norcal for the heads up on this one. Damn good memory my man!
  2. I have had quite a few questions and some from members here on my Race Inc frameset ebay auction. This is a NO gussett factory anodized black Race Inc with Race Inc serial Number. Also This is a pro sized frame. It measures dead exact to my PK Ripper with 18 3/4 top tube, 11.5 seattube, 19.5 downtube, and 15" chainstays. Hope this helps anyone here that asked. Dave-oldbmxdc
  3. Here's some of my Italian : http://www.oldbmxdc.com/it1.jpg http://www.oldbmxdc.com/it2.jpg NOS CMX-1 Cinelli, Cinelli Post, Seat, Stem, Omas Headset, Campy Tippo hubs, mx pedals, cranks, bottom bracket. A little older Italy: http://www.oldbmxdc.com/it3.jpg
  4. 1. The cranks should go all the way on IF you have frame clearance and your chain line is right. 1st make sure you are using the sleeve supplied that goes between the bearings and it is snug between the bearings. Install spindle, space out right side so sprocket is in line with freewheel, then install rh arm and tighten all down. 2. Install lh arm without spacers to see if you CAN install it all the way. Remove lh arm, install spacers on the LH side, arm then tighten. IF you do need to space it out so the lh arm is not all the way on the spindle DO not let it hang off the spindle more than 1/16" or so. If you have installed the sleeve right, you will still be able to tighten the bolts and the bearings will run smooth. If you tighten crank arm bolts and your bearings seize up then you know your sleeve is too short between the bearings and you will have to pull all apart and install a longer sleeve or a thin spacer. It is a good idea to Pre assemble the bottom bracket off the bike, set it up to the bb shell and make sure that the cup edges are just a butt hair wider than the bb shell. Then you will have no problems.
  5. Double wall yes. They are super 7X rims. They only came in silver as far as 26". They used the special edition decals on the 26" and super 7X on the 20/24". They are great rims but as far as building and ease of truing Rhyno lites or Sun BFR' s are better since the spoke holes have eyelets. BUT, the Arayas have welded seams no no "thumping" when brakes applied.
