Look forward to the show. Sounds like the local community is going to be actively involved. Which would be great for a event like this.

Registered folks, YOU will receive priority placement, but you will need to be loaded in early. We'll be sharing more details soon. I just wanted to mention it, so people can start planning ahead.

One thing people have to remember is that we cannot set up by our cars this year.  We are going to have to walk our stuff on to the plaza for set up from the parking in the surrounding area. That may mean people will want to have a wagon or dolly to help move your ez up, tables, cooler, etc etc

We have about 1 month left. It will go fast. Please plan to be compact in your set up. Think 10 x 10. We are not going to be able to have unlimited sprawl as we've had at times in previous years.

Not to belabor this, but some who expect to register the day of show, may find there aren't spaces. Reserve by registering.

I just don't want it to come as a surprise, so I feel compelled to issue warnings that it could easily pan out this way. You may be ok, but no guarantee. Space is limited. Unregistered people will not even be able to enter the plaza before 8:30 AM. No exceptions. Registered people on the other hand should be prepared to be there prior to that to claim your reserved space. We can't hold it. Registered people will be receiving an e-mail with load in procedure. PLEASE, please read that. It will make things go much smoother for you. It will come out the week before the show.

Also, I'd like to ask that to facilitate faster processing of registration pack pick up the morning of the show, AS WELL AS access to the plaza itself for load in by those who are registered, it would be very helpful if you have a printout of your registration. We will have the master list, but I promise it will save you time if you can just present your registration email.

Also, I've mentioned this, but I feel I need to do it often - we can't bring our vehicles into the show this year. That means porting your EZ up and bikes into the show from nearby parking. It's going to be a bit more work for people, so I suggest figuring out ways to put wheels under your gear - a wagon or a dolly or whatever. It's going to be a little bit of a schlep.

Pre-registration will close in a couple of days, unless we sell out earlier.  There are still spaces left now.

This year is kind of tight on space and day of registration option can't be 100% guaranteed.  We'll see how it goes.

Also... please understand that unregistered people will not have access to the Plaza until close to 9am.  They will not be able to come in until then.

Pre-registration going once...

Ok, I went to Van Nuys yesterday and took a bunch of measurements.  I re-opened pre-registration today.  We can safely sell a dozen or so more pre-registration spots.

It will close after that for the final time.  If you missed registration, now is the time to act with haste.

The orientation e-mail went out to all show registrants.

Please read it.

PLEASE NOTE UNREGISTERED ATTENDEES WON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE PLAZA UNTIL 9AM.

Please stay clear of the area until then.  Thanks for your cooperation, showing up earlier than 9am will only delay the opening of the general admission period.

For those that did register, you should have received the orientation e-mail by now.

If you did not, please email me at:  BMXsociety@gmail.com
Please provide your name and e-mail you used to register, and or the name on your paypal account if it is different than your name.  Please do not wait to sort this out, I will not have much chance to repond after about 11am Friday.

The image attached is what your confirmation e-mail looks like. It was sent instantly and automatically the moment after your registration came in. Print that, or have it READY to show on your phone please. It will really help expedite the load-in.

UNREGISTERED PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THE PLAZA UNTIL 9AM - YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN BEFORE
