Can anyone offer an explanation of what thebmxgalleryboss had in mind with his last and now deleted post. ( I did enjoy the response from B Hays.)
If I was a Facebook user (I am not) would I get it? or was something else going on?

It had been edited by the time I saw it, but it was an appeal to join his facebook group, along with what I believe was meant to amount to some kind of critique of other groups and the fact that they are "closed" groups. When a group is "closed", as BMX Society is on FB, that means that members can participate and the content will not show up on the news feed of all of their friends, whenever they post in the BMX group. A lot of people prefer some privacy to pursue their hobby discreetly. For instance some folks don't want the entire world of their facebook connections to know about their valuable bike collection for security reasons for instance. On the other hand, if they do want their FB connections to see it, they can post their content directly on their own wall. Basically a "closed" group is simply a privacy screen.
It is just obnoxious to try to direct people away and to his own group. I have never promoted BMX Society on another group's page. I believe that if a group has any value, people will arrive on their own accord. The fact that it was fairly incoherent... I really don't know what that was all about.
This may not be permanent. Just a time out... I don't know.

Thank you for the primer and makes sense. Your conduct herein is ethical and errs on the side of protection of its members. His conduct appears to be lacking such and/or a bit self centered.
I will add that there is something about the gathering of specification(s) for all these bikes and parts has always seemed a bit odd in that if he was inclined to scale up the drawings actual parts could be made, not that he is or will. He could as his craftsmanship is quite good.
Back to the bikes.
