1980 Gary Littlejohn Pit
Frame was repaired by Joe Buffardi,it was tweaked out pretty bad. The fork was in good shape. He worked his magic and was able to keep the original finish. Joe was kind enough to sell it to me before the June show. I wanted to build something like the shot of the chimp and the police officer. I think I came close to it. The hardest part of this build was getting the 12 gauge spokes cut, I finally found a shop and had them cut some old spokes. I really like the way the wheelset came out. I went with a Bendix red band and Schwinn hub up front, Cheng Shin in front and a Uniroyal Nobby in the rear . Both tires are 2.125. Chain ring is a Three Arrows with Schwinn cranks and pedals. I hope you guys dig it.

1976 Redline 16" Squareback

All original finishes and decals except the head tube decal that is OG but not to the bike.

This is an amazing original condition Redline. I tried to build this era correct for what was available for a pit bike in '76-'77.

Frame Redline Squareback 16"
Crankset Ashtabula 5 1/2"
Stem Redline Double Clamp
Grips Oury
Bars 2nd Gen Redline V-bars
Seat Schwinn Messinger
Rims Schwinn 16" S-2
Rear Schwinn Stingray
Front Hub Schwinn Stingray
Front Tire Schwinn Tractor
Rear Tire Schwinn Tractor
Sprocket Tagaki MX
Pedals Kingsbury
Seatpost Wald
Seatpost Clamp Schwinn
