There was the Huffy someone just posted recently -- The Pro Thunder Z-2. It basically had a front derailleur set up like the typical 10-speed of the day.

That would be me check it out this thing rides greatIn the back of my brain, a little ways down on the "to-do" list, I want to do a 24 with a Shimano 3-speed internal hub. That's my plan. I've patented it, so don't try to steal it. If you've already done it, I'll let you slide, but only for information on how to pull it off well.

I have wanted to do the same thing. I like it to be similar to my race cruiser except a 3 speed set to allow me to climb mountains a bit better. I have looked at sturmey-archer 3 speed products. They have quite a selection of hubs and shifters.
