Chromo Alliant Pro frame and fork

100_9461.jpg

Our Alliant fleet so far. The mini red frame is one of four prototype mini frames made with measurements i gave Mike Devitt to equip my son. When they were done, he called and asked which color my son wanted and he picked the red. The serial number is 00004. Also included in this picture is a Jr. and Expert, a chrome foreign made pro and my white chromolly pro.

101_0052.jpg

My Dirtmaster line up. The frame is a Flatty that i have been told is a prototype frame with a different rear end. I was told that there were about 5 of these frames welded up that way. Also in the picture: mid 90s black Dirtmaster HFO and gray Dirtmaster Street with newer decals (made by SE at the time when Mike owned SE), and my early 2000s black Dirtmaster Big Bertha 24" dirt jumper.

nice stem!! i would love to find one of those. One thing i didn't agree with on the design level, was the 1" threadless on the expert frame. Should be a 1 1/8" like the other companies. It limits the fork you can use on the frame.

I have some other goodies that i will take pics of and post next week.

Big Bertha's are cool, they are the 24" version of the "HFO" (high flying object).. pure BEEF. with a 22" TT

Great stuff, Sean, Brian and PJ.

We need an Alliant section in the U of OSBMX if you are up for authoring it, Sean.

LOL PJ, I'll keep it here since the Dirt Master stuff fits in the era but I have seriously not been able to put a date on Alliant. I have always assumed they were late 90's but I am guessing not until the early 2k?

Nice save lol.
