Additional Notes

I've owned this since 1982. Purchased in 82 (maybe early 83) and raced until 85. I pulled it out from my parents garage and raced it again for a brief stint in the early 90's.

The frame and fork were originally owned and raced by Kevin McCarthy (who at the time was the Factory Pro rider for Star Products). He was a buddy of mine and i remember asking him about it all the time. When he switched factory rides, he sold it to me. I changed a few parts over the years but after getting back into BMX again in 2006, i brought it back to era correctness. The handlebars are my original Patterson pros and have been on the bike since BITD. The 4130 decal by the bottom bracket was added then too.

The numberplate was inspired from a picture i found (in BMX Plus Aug 82) of Kevin racing the bike. I liked the number he was running.
