Additional Notes

One of a kind bike featured on the April 1981 Bicycle Moto-cross Action cover and described in more detail within the magazine in which I had an article too!

Switched to Torkers in 1978 and was coined "The Torker Kid!" When the '81 BMXA cover and feature of Jason's bike came out I was totally blown away for how a bike could be so aesthetically correct and dialed! Not into mini's but man this was was so cool!

25 years later I had parts from all my years of biking including a Torker mini frame and fork. What a great 25th anniversary present to see if I can build this guy exactly as the bike appeared, down to the zip ties! After finally finding the Shimano hubs and Laguna bars it was time to copper plate three days before Rockford and add final touches. At Rockford I forgot my Torker headtube sticker and a miracle happened, purchased one...couldn't believe it!
